Kriya Yoga Europe

Kriya Yoga, or " yoga of action " or "active yoga", is a form of Raja yoga and goes back to the Katha-Upanishad. Also in the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali, Kriya Yoga is described. Great visibility (even in the Western world) gained Kriya Yoga by Paramahansa Yogananda.

The goals of yoga are: self-realization and God union, dissolution of Avidya (ignorance) and karma, and love for all creatures. To achieve these goals lies in the Kriya Yoga the emphasis on tapas (exercises that help to manage daily life with the consciousness of the Higher Self) Svadhyaya (self study / reflection, study of old / Scriptures) and Ishvara Pranidhana (turning to God, faith in God).

Kriya Yoga teaches that the all-pervading cosmic power of creation is hidden in everyone. This enabled divine 'force with the breathing every human action, every thought and every feeling. Hence the name kriya: Any activity or critical is done by the inherent creative soul ya. Yoga means union. The literal meaning of the word Kriya Yoga is the perception from inside resident self - the divine power of creation - in every action and every thought.

By practicing Kriya Yoga should be at the same time develop the body, mind and soul. The technique of Kriya Yoga has on scientific principles and is based on breath control. As a result, this leads to mastery of the various human moods and the adept experienced deep rest and go on this way to a balanced lifestyle. The science of Kriya Yoga that produces knowledge that people will put in a position to exercise constantly present union with the Divine.
